Can I send Digital Photos? PDF Print E-mail

Of course!  When we scan paper photos into our computers they become digital images, so sending digital images to begin with saves some time in the production process.

If you plan to send Digital Photos, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure they are at least 1000 pixels wide.  Don't worry about the height, as it will be constrained to the width.  This is to ensure that the resolution of the photo is high enough for us to zoom in without the image getting pixilated.

2. Rename all of your photos in this manner: LastName001...LastName002...etc.  This is so we know whose photos they are and in what order you'd like to see them appear in your video.

3. When saving your files to a CD-Rom, please make sure that you have finalized your disc so that it can be read on another computer.  This is a little step that many people miss and it makes it impossible for us to access your files.  If you aren't sure if you've finalized your disc, simply test it on another computer before you send it to us.

4. If you are sending a mix of Digital and paper photos please be sure that they are all numbered correctly.  You may have a digital photo named Smith042 that you would like followed by a paper photo.  Please name that paper photo Smith043 with a sticker on the back, then the next digital file would be Smith044...and so on.
